THE SIDINGS RESIDENCY 20-22 SEPTEMBER 24

We are delighted to announce Play On Production’s Residency at The Sidings Newhaven between the 20 and 22 September 2024 as part of the BN9 exciting Creative Programme.

We are looking for actors, writers, designers, musicians and production team between 16 and 25 to become members of our young people’s theatre cooperative as we create our response to the thoughts and words of Shakespeare’s greatest characters.  

Develop your creative skills toward a series of public performances whilst enhancing your creative journey as you prepare for further training at college, drama school, university or go directly into employment.

As a member, you will have weekly evening workshops with professional theatre makers including hot food freshly prepared to kick off your evening.

Workshops will be at SCDA, Denton Island on Thursdays between 6.00 and 8.00 pm with hot food served from 5.15 pm.

This year we can support your work over the Residency weekend at the apprentice hourly rate of £6.10 and £11.44 per hour for company members with post-18 qualifications. There is no cost for workshop participation or hot food.
